If you're running AVG (I use it too), then you need to add WFTOGame.exe and CoherentUI.exe to the whitelist so AVG ignores them.

I think, this may be due to the missing UI issue that occasionally crops up. Can't be sure because I don't know what half of that bug ticket was ever referring to.


But try the fixes listed in this link and let us know if that solves the issue.

I think his second comment is saying he was mistaken about the timing, and completed it in 14 minutes (and thought the target time was 15 minutes) and the target time is 13 minutes. In which case this isn't a bug and is simply user error.


Can you confirm Rawhide?

Theory: Some of the minions spawned can't/don't have inventories, so the gold is spawned at their feet instead.

Hey RiiNO1337, as you've just bought the game recently i've got another suggestion to try.


It's possible that steam didn't download all of the files for the game when you initially installed the game which could be causing the crash. It's a shot in the dark but we can find out if that is the case if you verify the game cache.


You can do that by right clicking the game (in the steam library), clicking properties, then the local files tab in the properties window, and finally clicking the "verify integrity of game cache" button. Steam should then do it automatically and if there are any missing files it will download them for you.


Let us know if that resolves the issue, if not we'll try and figure out what else it could be.



Actually Cian (Hi by the way, no doubt we'll meet soon enough) I have a different theory. Until a recent (internally fixed) change, aspects which were locked did not count as progress towards unlocking lower aspects. As atleast one of the aspects in the each section of the veins of evil has been locked. It would prevent players from being able to spend enough sins to reach/unlock the titans at the bottom of the respective vein.

As this issue has already been resolved internally (locked veins now allow lower aspects to still be unlocked), this issue will likely be resolved once the public build is updated.

It's possible that those extra quotation marks are part of the strings submitted by kickstarter backers who got to name units, but i'll approve this for someone to double check it's not a new issue caused by the recent translation changes .

Thanks for the report, I just have a couple of questions which would help us track down the issue:


Does it always show that many quotes on all of his (randomised) names or is it just those particular 3 strings which have too many?


And was this on the default language or a community made one?
