Hi SannyTheSanny,

Sorry to hear you're having problems with War for the Overworld. This issue sounds quite peculiar indeed and I can't quite get a full grasp of all the problems described. I wonder if you'd be able to provide a video demonstrating what's happening on your screen. If you're running the game on Windows 10 then you should be able to use Windows' inbuilt DVR to record for a few minutes as you demonstrate the problems. You can upload the results to youtube unlisted and then send us the link so we can review.

In addition please can you do the following:

1. Ensure your video drivers are on the latest versions

2. Verify the Steam Cache for the game then try again to see if results are any different

3. If verifying the cache doesn't show improvements then please submit your output log to us as detailed here How to: Submit a Bug Ticket

Fingers crossed it might point us towards how to get you back in the game.

Just confirming that this was fixed as part of the 2.0.2 update last year. So the fix is already live and is not coming in the next patch ;)

Unfortunately after discussing this with the code team there is no fix for this issue. It's been known that this can occur unfortunately each time we've investigated there has been no clear way to make it occur reliably, without pinning down it's been impossible to determine the underlying cause. The presumption is that it's in some deep ancient part of the codebase and that a fix would be impossible to implement without huge impact across the whole game.

It's unfortunate as we certainly don't believe this should be happening but the occurrences are so few and far between under such extreme conditions that it's deemed to be of limited impact to the average player's experience. Thank you for the detailed report in any case, I wish there was more we could do.

Kind Regards,

Lee

To be investigated by Stefan to see if there's anything obvious in the save file. Again this is one of those difficult to reproduce issues which may not prove to be affordable in this triage.

This is headed into our triage queue for the next triage pass sometime later this year.

Nano to investigate save file. Was not able to replicate on Hollow so maybe something particular happening.

The blueprints not being rendered are actually being rendered below the floor as mentioned in another ticket. (Ask me Nano if you haven't already seen it)

Hi LordSithis,

If these are community created maps it's possible this is intended or an error in the script created by the user. Typically we would not support these and would ask you reach out to the creator of the map.

Do you have any examples where this occurs and can you clarify that this is not intended behaviour based on the level's script?

A save game from one of these levels would also be valuable.

Cheers,

Lee
