Medibot Queues

Medibots start racking up huge queues (20+ work items) but never seem to do anything. It seems like the queues get stuck behind stuff involving room maintenance? They don't really want to enter rooms, but that holds them up from doing anything else like cleaning.

Another player information:

This seems to be their general behaviour.

The infobox isn't really telling the player anything useful with how long the GLOBAL queue is, or that is the GLOBAL queue in the first place. That could be its own number.

The individual queue is not displayed, only when a bot has an active task, and that indicates that the entire task-distribution system for the queue is... borked.

The workers are similar ineffective, confused and running away from obvious tasks right next to them as the workers in WftO, and just the same doctors you drop (teleport) "into" (in front of the door) they often instead just walk away, just like the workers in WftO.

The misbehaviour looks/feels exactly the same as in WftO.

The problem seems to be that the WftO "AI" was just copied over without improving on it.

Much like the harvesters in the Command&Conquer series...

So unless that is reworked entirely, no player log will contribute anything.

Hi Bearsuit,

We had an issue where vomit/litter could spawn under objects and rooms, which are unreachable by Medis. This has now been fixed but unfortunately the litter that remains will be under the objects and you’ll need to move and re-place them to get the litter out of the way.

Should you come across any other issues please make sure to provide a debug save as these provide a much clearer picture of the issue.

Thanks!

Hey! I am sorry to hear you have a problem with medibots queueing for more than they can handle. For us to investigate the issue, we need you to provide us with certain game files - Instructions on how to generate the files can be found HERE. Please note that the files need to be generated from the same session the bug has occurred. Additionally, if possible, recording of a short video showing the problem would be lovely!

I appreciate your cooperation!

Best,

Dominik
