Let me guess, the GOG version never got that hotfix? I just bought it there and I am encountering it, looked it up and I seem to be running the faulty version over there.

I started playing today (May 25 2024) on PC via XBOX Gamepass, unfortunately, this bug is still being encountered there. placeholder text on gamepass
Is it correct to assume that this hotfix will be a bit later on gamepass? (I know from experience that this sometimes comes later on gamepass)

Just got this bug right now on Xbox (Series X) it fixed itself after the game crashed but not when I quit and reloaded.

I am still getting it. I'm on Steam v1.0.4+21a91030f0.
I have verified integrity of files, reinstalled the game a few times and cleared the Appdata folder. This is happening in the tutorial level when I'm asked to hire 2 doctors. Calling new doctors is locked as image below. If I reject all i get the first doctor slot with the placeholder similar to the above posts.
I'm at wits end, any advice is appreciated.

I am having the same problem 20/06/2024 AWST after 4 hours of play. Now the game is broken because i cant hire any doctors.
