Black screen problem

I last played Wfto when the heart of gold expansion came out and it worked just fine then. Now though, there's just a black screen when I start the game. Before anyone asks, yes, windows is fully updated on my PC. I've also tried compatibility settings with windows 7 and XP with no luck. I verified the integrity of the files too, and have tried running the game as the Admin. Attached is my launch log.

I have done all the steps with the exception of the .NET reinstall. Whenever I try to do that the downloaded fails even if I try to run it as the admin. Are there any other things I should try or should I work on get that done?
