Can’t spend Loamite Xbox series X

Hello - I play on Xbox Series X through Game Pass. When I go to the Galactic Exchange and press X to spend Loamite on something, nothing happens. When I press A it highlights the item, but pressing X still does nothing.

Steps to reproduce: On Xbox Series X, go to the Galactic Exchange and press X to spend Loamite on something, nothing happens.

Though it should not be like that, I discovered today, that after the first screen, without going into any chapter, it allowed me to buy by holding X. However, when I'm on a chapter I can not buy from that store even after buying from the "chapter select" menu
