Research Stuck

Hi,

this is a consistent problem since release and there have been many people asking about it or mentioning it on the discord:

The research points eventually reach 15000, but no Level 5 unlock happens.


I have seen, several times, with various diseases, how the value shrunk again, by a few hundred and some pocket change, once in a while and then was filled up again by the researchers, with still no unlock.

In the Pathodex however, the progress is listed as somewhere of 50% of Level 4.

This has gone through several missions.

You even some overflow XP range after Level 5 for some reason, yet that does not help break through this boundary.

The overpowered XP-candies jump several levels at once, so that shouldn't be the issue, right?

Something doesn't carry right. The research "Insight" Points are no good metric for the player, but it may give an indication of what's wrong.

For magical reasons at some point sometimes the Level Up comes through. But no clue why.
