UI: Long text keeps autoscrolling

All the lore-sections with long texts that require a scrollbar are

1) starting at a random position opening the respective tab

2) slowly keep scrolling by themselves

3) once hitting the bottom, they instantly, automatically change direction to just as slowly scroll up, making it nigh impossible to read the last line. Trying to mousewheel down or hold the scrollbar down to force it only makes it flicker as the code obviously wants to do the up-movement the moment the bottom is hit.

I don't know why scrolling back up would even be necessary.

Due to this issue I have not bothered to read any of the lore, because this way it is far too irritating. I like my text well behaved and static. Like those ink-splotches chained to the paper.

Hey Doctor!

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing negative experience with the long text auto scrolling automatically. Could you be so kind to provide us with a short video of the problem? Our team also would need game files to investigate the root of the problem - Please follow this LINK for instructions on how to generate them.

Best,

Dominik

Just to stay with the topic I'll add this here:

I saw there was a small autoscrolling text in this "buggy" manner for when you click on the trash bin... I suppose it was an idea for such things and just set globally. That still exists. One of those design ideas that "sound nice on paper but don't work in practice"

It's not even a lot of text in there and I would suggest changing those to just full text windows instead; at least disabling this autoscrollery globally, or at least for the PC versions.

Thank you for additional information. I will forward it to our developers as a suggestion regarding these long walls of text.

Best,

Dominik
