Black screen on startup

Completed - Resolved

Initial splash comes up and goes to a black screen with a cursor. I can only close it with Alt F4.

Windows 7 64-bit

AMD phenom II X4 965 processor, 3.4GHz

4GB RAM

ATI Radeon HD 5700 2806 MB

Windows SP1 is installed. All drivers are installed.

Note: I have played this game on this exact rig before flawlessly.

Can you please try to run the vcredist and DotNet installers in the games install folder. They are all in the "_CommonRedist" folder.

Thank you for the reply. I have Windows 7 Service Pack 1 installed. I reinstalled the game since since the post; no success. I have checked out every other page I can find and tried every relevant fix and none of them have work.
