First time playing, instant savegame corruption

I have just bought the game and started it for the very first time. I went into the options and changed a button in the controls, but then reset them to the default values. I then configured some graphics options. I bought the Medi Holoplinth. Then I started the first mission. Immediately after the loading screen, I received the message that the save game was faulty.
