Hey folks! I'm very sorry to say there is indeed an issue that was only activated today by accident (early release of seasonal content that doesn't yet exist). This has caused the game to fail with doctor hiring.
We're furiously smashing out a fix now and hope to have it resolved for Steam users by the end of today. Windows Store and console users may need to wait a few extra days.
If you're absolutely busting to keep playing, you can probably rewind your PC clock to 18/06/2024 and it should be fine again.

Deleted all local files and steam cloud saves. But still the same problem on the first mission...
