Unable to dig!!

I bought the game today (the original, not the new patch or expansion) and when I try to play the tutorial I can't even dig out the first walls. I click on the area I want to dig and nothing happens!!

The game updated itself and i entered in "-force-d3d9" and now it's all sorted!! Thank you so much!!

What do you mean with you bought the original, not the new patch or DLC?

The Patch is avilable for free and I highly recommend downloading it.

Hi Rob, sorry you're having trouble.


This is a known issue which is appearing on a small number of systems and we're working on tracking it down so we can fix it (it's the highest priority ticket right now)


It would be a massive help if you could let us know your system specs so we can determine if you're part of that group or if this is something else entirely.

can you try the following?

  1. Right click the game in your steam library and go to properties
  2. Click "Set launch options"
  3. Add "-force-d3d9" in this box (No quotation marks)

Attach your output log file as instructed here, and also try the game without any launch options at all and tell us if it works.
