Units not attacking Shale

During the final level of Lamash in the Under Games, units just don't fight in Shales dungeon core. They attack any units they encounter on the way to the core, and they we able to kill Oberon easily, but as soon as they enter Shales core room all units, both mine and Shales, just stop fighting completely.
