WFTU game crashes to menu when loading maps

I put this in the bugs section a couple weeks ago. I don't know if there was a recent update or not but I can no longer load the majority of community maps I have. It just crashes to the main menu. log Is there possibly a workaround I could do? I tried reinstalling but it didn't do anything to fix it. This is one of my favorite games. I have almost 850 hours logged.
