4k resolution GUI corruption

This has been like it since I got the game, no different since before the 1.2 patch and no difference after the 1.3 patch.


Basically when I play in 4k mode (Full screen), the GUI goes all intermittent, background icons vanish, mouse over some icons and they vanish totally, I have tried the game at 1080 and its perfect, turned off and lowered all settings but the 4k resolution and still get the same issues.


The first image shows the potion tab, as can be seen, at 4k its a disaster, the +'s are flickering in and out, there is no backgrounds to the icons and moussing over them just does more oddities.

This second picture is the most frustrating and only discovered how to get around it tonight, when on the unit tab (Which you will notice is missing its icon) the rally all minions button vanishes the second the mouse goes near it and tries to let me dig!!! Change to the room tab and this stops.

For now the third and final picture, this is typical of what can happen to the whole interface, the buttons vanish as the mouse goes over them, in this case even in the menus.

The above cases are typically the worst, I don't much use potions and the work around for rally all minions will cover that for now.

Hello DukeSatan,


After talking to the coders ill have to tell you that we do not support 4k resolutions, this will not change in the forseeable future either. If you reduce the resolution down to 2k it should work fine.


Im sorry for the inconvenience, the change is not feasible currently.

Thanks for letting me know, a limitation of the game engine I assume, might be an idea to limit the maximum resolution selectable in game instead of allowing unsuitable resolutions to be selected.
