It is bad that can't edit the topic start, I would have deleted the repetition of the link to the map.
no worries.
as with the other import issues you have encountered i will add this one into our internal reports description to have them all in one place.
i will complete this ticket for now
If you don't mind me asking - Galiyev Rustyem, do your maps names contain Russian characters, or are being placed in any folder / tree that contains Russian letters?
I've experienced many problems, in the past, with non-latin characters interfacing with Steam Workshop, some db's, registry and even leaderboards and chat.
Sorry to butt in like this, but perhaps it might be helpful.
Zapadnyie kompyuteryi nye lyubyat yazyik Russkii, druugi :P
Perhaps transliteration of the filename / file path might help with the import errors..?
Transliteratsiya imyeni faila na Angliyskom yazyikye mozjhet pomoch import..?
No, the original map is called
Disco Inferno
The map that I want to do after import is called
Whose kung-fu is cooler?
No cyrillic characters in the names of any folders, there is no game, - the game is not Veit cyrillic characters I didn't renamed any folders.
The problem is not resolved.
that is correct. Thats what i was trying to tell you i incorporated your report in our internal reports and hopefully see a fix for 1.4
1.3.2 wont see an update before this and then the issue should hopefully be fixed.
I have a map for 2 players. I'm trying to import, and in the settings change the number of players (up to 4). Maybe the problem is that you have not provided (or is broken) change the number of players?
However, Noontide wrote "You can always reimport a map to add additional factions to it (As this creates a brand new map file)".
I checked with another map, 2 player. Tried to import it, for 3 players Again critical bug. The problem is clearly in the change in the number of players.
What else is bad, after a critical error - WFTO hangs, and has to shut down through the task manager.

i did in fact not merge it with your thread but as ive tried to tell you multiple times with a Internal ticket. That is why it is not visible to you. I am not allowed to link it to you due to my NDA otherwise i would have.
As said i wanted to have all the issues in one place so our coders can easily see what these importing issues do.
i hope that clears up any misunderstanding now. Basically your issue is a duplicate and i wanted to merge them with an internal ticket.
we will introduce a "Fixed in the next Patch" status soon so these communication issues will not happen in the future.

When merging the bug reports, it will be convenient, if you copy the new thread and paste in the old thread, then you can delete the new - or rather, to make a reference to the first response, and close.
