UI issue

Windows 10, Intel 17-4770, 16GB Ram, AMD R9 280, Game v2.0.6f2

On the main menu when i click on any of the game modes the background moves to the appropriate room however the UI does not update meaning that i can not enter the game.

Posting Output Logs

A log is created by the game every time you play. Posting this is essential to us investigating your issue.


Please note that this file is wiped every time the game launches, so ensure the bug you are reporting happened during your last play session.


The location of the log can be found in the following location based on OS:


Windows

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\War For The Overworld\WFTOGame_Data\output_log.txt

macOS

~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

I have tried verifying the game data and a complete uninstall and reinstall

We found an issue in your logs which would only happen if the retrieval of achievement data from Steam does fail.

This could in consequence cause the current UI page to not respond anymore.

We do not know why this retrieval fails, it could be due to an issue with the Steam Client (Reinstall of steam could help), or any Antivirus or Firewall blocking the retrieval (in this case addding an Exception probably helps).

So while this issue remains a little mystery, we made sure that this error can not break the UI for next patch.

So in case it happens again after next Patch you should still be able to play, but the Achievements sub menu under "Extras" will not work, if achievements can not be retrieved from Steamworks.
