Art is long, life is short achievement

I failed "Heart of Gold" mission in less than 5 minutes (sent  colossus to death) but somehow unlocked "Art is long, life is short" achievement.

As with the other "bug" I believe this is actually working as intended. I think it is likely that you defeated Lord Saffire in the previous level and thus already own the achievement. Is this correct?
