Seems as it wasn't fixed. At the level "Heart Attack" no Raskos' workers defend his Core from attackers as I noticed.

After reviewing this it seems that workers aren't actually supposed to fight other units in this game (with the exception of fighting other workers).
That being the case I think this is working as intended.
The initial report (which is marked as complete) states that units are unable to attack some units which are attacking a dungeon core and does not specifically include workers. We found that some cores bounding boxes were incorrectly set and some units were unable to attack units that entered that bounding box.
Workers are not intended to fight normal units, they will only attack other workers. (Their damage is too low to affect any other unit.)
There is no miscommunication, this is just a different issue to the one you link and this is working as intended and therefore isn't a bug.
I'll have to check the intended behaviour on this.
