Well, the problem is that when vampires are in combat, they completely ignore all their needs. Player doesnt have to pay their wages, they dont eat prisoners anymore and they have no downtime so they level up constantly. Disabling their blood gain in arena would probably do nothing because they dont care at this point.

This can be done outside arena but then player is risking losing vampires because enemy player can grab them to his prison if they get beaten up, so its not entirely risk free.

You don't have to fulfill their needs so you can do extreme things like keep 20 or more vampires in the arena (I have done that, basically I turned all my own minions into vampires and put them into arena), level them all up and when you finally use rally flag against enemy player, they will leave arena on their own and move to rally flag immediately.

In my opinion possible fixes are:

- rebalance them so they dont heal faster than they deal damage in 1v1 situation (meeting another vampire 1vs1 outside arena is purely theoretical because chances of that are low but it would also fix that situation) The problem is, if you decide to nerf them then players may decide that vampires are simply too weak and not worth the effort

- disable their self healing in arena

- make it impossible to drop them in arena

- make them leave arena immediately after player drops them there (lets say that vampires dont like to be treated like animals)

There is also another question that needs answersing. Can vampires rebel against you when there is rally flag present, their needs are too low and they simply guard some place instead of fighting? I tried it few times and never had vampire rebel against me but maybe it wasnt long enough (I dont know how much time it takes for minion to rebel) so I can't really confirm this issue. If rally flag indeed makes minions ignore all their needs then this is also a big problem.

I believe it is happening alongside desynchronization issue: http://brightrockgames.userecho.com/topics/1410-second-playthrough-of-the-same-map-during-mp-without-reboot-causes-numerous-problemserrors/ and http://brightrockgames.userecho.com/topics/1432-multiplayer-1v1-client-side-messed-up/

I'm 100% sure it was happening in my matches that were desynchronized, I just didnt think these issues were connected. That explains why I wasnt able to reproduce it, because I started restarting game client every multiplayer match and red flag seems to work fine since that time.

We only had time only for 1 game today and to be honest I tried to reproduce it and couldnt, the thing is - I didnt even play multiplayer before heart of gold release so it couldnt be any version before 1.4.

The only thing that changed since we last played was that my friend purchased and updated to heart of gold aswell (he was hosting without HoG before), not sure if that changes anything though.

Not sure what to tell you guys, because I dont want to waste your time If I am somehow wrong about this. I will get back to you when we play more and get some proof

Huh, you probably started thinking i made it up :P

There is one more thing I forgot to mention. On very rare ocasions rituals would get stuck completly and even canceling them didnt help. I was unable to use rituals until the game ended but that happened maybe 2-3 times out of 100 games.

I asked friend of mine to play today after work and will do my best to reproduce these bugs and post whatever is needed

All the bugs I ecountered were happening while I was playing this collection: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=758588439 (usually 2players+2AI vs AI)

These maps are large and have ALOT of units on them

I reinstalled the game right now but I checked earlier output logs I posted in previous bug reports and I think they confirm I was on the last version of the game

engine version: 5.4.0f3 (a6d8d714de6f)

WFTO Version: 'v1.4.2f9

Hey, I'm 100% sure I never played any beta build. All these bugs happened for me after you guys fixed slaughterpen bug ("Slaughterpen Pigs should no longer become uneatable over the course of a long game session, causing mass hunger through your dungeon") because I refused to play the game until it was fixed which means I was playing with lastest patch applied.

I always grab potions via interface. I dont think there was anything unusual about it.

I reinstalled the game and I will be playing with a friend tomorrow and try to replicate all these bugs, post screenshots, output log, maybe make a movie out of it

I use windows 10 64 bit without anniversary update if that matters.

Honestly, I get alot of bugs playing as client in multiplayer. Most of them dont appear until 15 minutes+ into the game when there is alot going on already so trying to replicate them at beginning of the game can be tricky.

I also ecounter bugs that are supposed to be fixed already (bugs that were mentioned in patch notes). Stefan suggested that my game might be corrupted so I am going to reinstall it and let you know later if that changed anything.
