Thanks - I just wanted to have a look for a 64bit DRM-free version for Linux, as Steam is still Pain In The Ass. I really would love to see a GOG release and would be honestly grateful if I do not have to pay the full price again ;-)

I am not able to redeem any key from Humble.. I guess I just purchased the Bedrock Beta via Steam.. AFAIR DRM-free version is _only_ for Kickstarter/Humble users?

At least the alsa error is gone..


I guess this might have sth. to do with my mono-installation.. I am running mono-2.10.9 ..

While starting via Steam visually nothing happens and starting from cmdline opens at least a viewport/window. It starts loading the game but seems to fail at some point when steam (gameoverlay?) functions get used.


But anyhow this seems to me like "instantly crash"


I am running gentoo-sources 4.5.0 - This is quite up to date :-/

Moreover I am able to play other Stuff like Dota2 via Steam...


Is there a debug mode to get some logs I can provide?

To fix the gameoverlayrenderer.so issue i do:


rm /home/n3ph/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so && ln -sf /home/n3ph/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_64/gameoverlayrenderer.so /home/n3ph/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so


But this does not fix the game to start properly
