I don't have a specific cause for these crashes, but I've encountered 3 crashes recently. All 3 occurred when beating a level after having played for several hours (and possibly reloading the game multiple times).

Hopefully you can make sense of them.

Steam Public

Hi Endymon,

Sorry to hear that the game has crashed for you recently, multiple times no less. Currently our whole team currently fully heads down on our new project as we're approaching a major milestone but we definitely want to look into this for you.

Can you confirm for me whether these crashes are a recently occurrence? Under what circumstances are they occurring, is it a particular level that seems to be affected? If possible can you include any saves from this level for us.You can find instructions here: How to: Submit a Bug Ticket

Can you also include a DXDiag output for your PC? How To: Generate a DXDiag Report.

Hope we can help,

Lee

Hi there,

I have not seen the issue being tied to any specific level.

I've been doing an achievement run, and the crashes have occurred at level end upon achievement unlock, but I don't think its necessarily related. And upon reloading the most recent save, and completing the level again, It does not crash again.

My best guess is it has more to do with how many hours have been played consecutively.

I can send you my save games, but I do not recall on which ones were just prior to the crashes.

To confirm, all 3 of these crashes have been since I started playing again which was around the time of the first crash. Before then I hadn't played for over a year, so I don't know when they might have been introduced.

I have attached my dxdiag as requested.DxDiag.zip

Hi Endymon,

Sorry for the delay in our response, we've been extremely busy recently preparing for a major milestone on our other project.

I'm currently on leave after a very crunchy week. But I wanted to quickly look into some of these reports we've had recently.

We've had a few reports recently from Nvidia users of crashes which is quite odd. However looking into your issue further yours seems different. One factor I've noticed is that your drivers are dated 4/30/2017. It might be worth giving these an upgrade and seeing if it changes the nature of your issue?

Cheers,

Lee

Hi,
Unfortunately updating drivers is something I will not be able to do for a while probably.
My video card for whatever reason only accepts those old drivers. Newer ones won't install for some reason.

So if its a video card related issue, I'll probably just have to ignore the crashes.

Thanks

Could you please try and use DDU(Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove your graphics drivers and then install the latest from your manufacture?

Let us know if that helps.
