"When selecting one of the detail views (Level, Status, Mood) for the unit panels the framerate noticeable drops and remains low until the detail view is toggled off. This is exacerbated the more units the player has" - Noontide
"Another thing i noticed is that when there is small amount of UI elements the game feels smoother. For instance, when i switch from the units tab to spells (and there's only a few spells researched), it feels smoother. I can't get any FPS counter to work in game, so i couldn't measure it, but maybe you can try. Start one level, play it a lot, and just never research any spells. Then switch from unit view to spells when there's a lot of units to see if it makes any difference." - Vepar
- Open a level with god mode and place lots of units of different types
- Open the unit panel
- Switch to one of the detail views. Observe the reduction in framerate.
