Save game bugged on PS5

Playing chapter 8, get it to 5 stars, save and return to Galaxy Map. When I try to reload, the loading screen appears for a few seconds, before returning me to the galaxy map. After restarting game, all progress on level 8 has been reset.

I start again, get hospital to 5 stars, save game corrupts again and progress is lost once again.

I decide to jump to chapter 9, hoping the bug will fix itself.

Same things happens on Chapter 9. I can't progress the game at all, as the new chapters won't unlock.

I see after many months that this issue still persists with little to no communication from the Devs. I bought the supporter pack and DLC, but have only been able to play about half the game. I literally can't progress the main game at all.

I feel like my only option is to look at refund options. And what a shame, because I was really loving the game.
