it is safe to assume that your laptop tried to save energy and switched from your dedicated to your integratedGPU. Most systems have energy safe modes that also shut down the PC before the battery runs out to make sure no data is lost.
you can disable this in your system settings if you want but i can not recommend it. My recommendation would be to play with having a permanent power supply as War for the Overworld is hardware intensive.
