Issues on the Main Menu

Mendecaus never ends up stating his usual greeting. I've recently re-installed War for the Overworld on a new PC and when I try to use the various menus, such as singleplayer or multiplayer, etc, the menu doesn't record my previous progress. In addition to that, when I try to go into Campaign or Skirmish or anything, the menu doesn't allow me to select things like which level I'd like to play. It also doesn't allow me to back out, and I'm stuck looking at a view of the Overworld without any ability to select a level or to reset my progress. When I try to do scenarios, the camera pans to a different section of the main menu but doesn't provide anything to actually click on. I'm left with only the main menu while i listen to a beating dungeon heart, and I can adjust nothing but the settings menu.

Hi SannyTheSanny,

Sorry to hear you're having problems with War for the Overworld. This issue sounds quite peculiar indeed and I can't quite get a full grasp of all the problems described. I wonder if you'd be able to provide a video demonstrating what's happening on your screen. If you're running the game on Windows 10 then you should be able to use Windows' inbuilt DVR to record for a few minutes as you demonstrate the problems. You can upload the results to youtube unlisted and then send us the link so we can review.

In addition please can you do the following:

1. Ensure your video drivers are on the latest versions

2. Verify the Steam Cache for the game then try again to see if results are any different

3. If verifying the cache doesn't show improvements then please submit your output log to us as detailed here How to: Submit a Bug Ticket

Fingers crossed it might point us towards how to get you back in the game.
