The game crashes on start

I've just bought the game. Unfortunately it crashes on start.

Game version 2.0.6F1 Ultimate Edition

Steps to reproduce:

Run the game from GOG Galaxy
I see the logo, then a loading screen with a progress bar and an art drawing on the background
The game crashes on 40% of loading progress

Specs:

notebook ASUS N551JM

Intel Core i7-4710HQ

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M (driver version 417.35)

16 GB RAM

Windows 10 x64

I tried:

Installing the latest graphics drivers then rebooting the system
Updating OS Windows
Repairing the game
Reinstalling the game

Output.log: output_log.txt

Crash data: 2019-01-02_221624.zip

Please fix the issue asap. I don't want to refund the game and wait another half of the year for the next discount :-(

Could you please try and use DDU(Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove your graphics drivers and then install the latest from your manufacture?

There error you're having is d3d11: failed to create 2D texture shader resource view id=3659 [D3D error was 80070057]

This message points to an issue with your dx redistributable.

Please try to uninstall all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and also follow these guides.

It didn't helped too.

However I found the solution. I uninstalled the driver as suggested by this link.

Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
In the list of devices, you should see the graphic drivers.
Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.

The old driver (v388.73) was installed, not the one I downloaded with NVIDIA GeForce Experience (v417.35). Looks like the new driver is buggy and I should use the old one.
