Is it WAD that AI-controlled spirits cannot pass through ramparts? It is possible to pass through in possession-mode, so guessing one or the other shouldn't be.

Can't say I'm 100% familiar on what the design is meant to be here. However it is likely that the Pathfinding is excluding the ability to cross through these obstacles as they would block most normal units.
We'll have a look but it's possible that this issue will not be addressed or even be considered against design.

We did our Triage pass today and I can confirm that although this is not entirely working as designed (indeed they should pass) the reason they don't is because of limitations in the pathfinding system. Sadly the time and resources it would take to change this would far outweigh the benefits it would bring to the game.
