Units will attempt to path through lava in some cases, this is intended. I will look at the save game

Load the attached savegame. There is no alternate route. And the weirdest thing is they don't walk on lava if you remove the rampart protecting the bombard.

Are you saying units walking and fighting on lava is intended behaviour?

They will walk on lava if the alternate route is significantly longer
