Game won't launch

I bought it on Steam and, as I'm sure you know, they don't have a support system really. The game starts to load like every other game. The icon shows up on the bar at the bottom of my screen but nothing ever shows up, and then the icon just disappears from the bar. I'm just wondering if there is something I can do to fix this.
