Can't create a map. The game freezes.

Can't create a map. The game freezes. Watch the video.


Just click on "create map" and the game freezes, not responding. Waited 20 minutes, - it is useless, all the same. Have to kill game process using the windows task manager.

Regular bug, discovered today. I conducted "check integrity cache" (all files were successfully tested) - did not help.

Found this folder in steam, there's some information at the workshop. The path to the folder: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\workshopbuilds :

I do not understand your last 2 comments. What to delete? What do you mean "set this one to "pending" 3rd party"? It expresses the idea clearly.

You have too many maps saved in steam's cloud. You've used up all the space that Steam gives a person to store data. So it's an issue with steam (the third party) not WFTO which is why it is a third party issue.


You need to delete some of the old maps which are saved on the steam cloud to make space for new ones. Any map which has already been published to the workshop can safely be deleted (from the steam cloud, don't delete them from the workshop itself) as you can always download it and re-import it if you want to make changes at a later date.

Sorry, you have to delete old saves, but as you showed in the other ticket the folder is now empty. Since the folder is now empty can you reproduce this map creation issue?


The steam cloud will automatically delete maps when you remove them from your PC.


If you right click the game in Steam and go to Updates you can see the amount of space avalible on your Steam Cloud

I think topic can be closed, new no such problems.

I think that because you have lost all you maps this issue is solved. We have also improved the window to tell you exactly why you cannot save a new map.
