WftOw indeterminate bug

When started WftOw the splash appears and then disappears. WftOw.exe operates in the background but no icon appears in task bar and no GUI comes up. Steam indicates the program is running as well. All available DLC is currently installed as well.



Methods attemped:

Okay. Well apparently Malware Bytes does not generate a false positive but something in the way the two operate means that while the AV is active in any capacity the game will not load correctly. Thanks.


It is worth noting that the splash screen has remained up even with the full start up and subsequent closure of the program.
